
2026 Rocketkidz Foundation Contractor
The Rocketkidz Foundation Board is seeking independent contractors to assist the volunteer board with operations, administration, and marketing tasks. This is a freelance position that does not require an extended amount of time. The ideal candidates have a working knowledge of Canva or similar software and social media. They are organized with an attention to detail. Experience in non-profits and/or project management is a plus. The Rocketkidz Foundation will consider hiring multiple individuals to accomplish the tasks in order to align with a contractor’s expertise.
Key Responsibilities
In alignment with and with the support of the Rocketkidz Foundation Board:

Manage grant application process: develop timeline, finalize application, announce availability, review applications, etc.

Actively post on social media accounts: create schedule based on events, engage on instagram, facebook, and through the foundation’s email account

Design marketing pieces for social media, website, and print usage
Compensation
Grants: $500
Social Media & Marketing: $500
Commitment
Six month commitment, January to June 2026.

Grant awards have ranged from $500 to $5,000 and funded projects such as water safety, social and physical skill building, inclusive fitness equipment, and providing sensory paths.
